VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION/UPDATES FROM ASC

Ashburn Soccer Club is pleased to announce a new registration system for the recreational program called Korrio. As this is a new system, please be mindful of the following changes in the registration process. Korrio’s mission is to transform the sports experience and elevate the level at which sports are played by automating the things that get in the way.

· Korrio is a family based system. You will first be asked to enter the parents’ information and then the children.

· Once you have entered all your children, make sure you click on all the boxes of the children you wish to register in that transaction.

· If you plan on volunteering as a coach, assistant coach or team manager, you can register at the same time as well.

· Programs are based on age groups for the seasonal year that begins September 1, 2011 and ends August 31, 2012.

· The Korrio system will only offer you programs that your child is eligible for. If your child is not offered the program that you wish to register for, do not abandon the registration. Select the offered program and contact Royce Brodie at admin@ashburnsoccerclub.us

· Do not use the backspace key while registering. You will have to start from the beginning again. Proceed through checkout.

· Once registration is complete you may go back at any time and correct or update your information

· Volunteer Commissioners are dependent on parents to register their children in a timely fashion in order to roster teams, distribute uniforms and create schedules. Late registrations by parents are the primary cause of delays in publishing schedules.

ASC Legends 01 U10 Academy continues to find success out on the Pitch!

ASC Legends 01 U10 boys Academy, coached by Royce Brodie, Brian Albrecht, and Brian Belforte continue to find success on the pitch. Both teams capped off undefeated NCSL fall 2011 seasons and brought home hardware in several tournaments this fall. The end of the season was capped off with an unbelievable showing finishing as finalist at the CASL tournament in Raleigh, NC playing up in age in the U11 bracket, and bringing home the Championship at the 15^th Annual Hunt Country Classic.

Congratulations to all of the boys for an amazing season and a strong finish to the fall season!

ASC Legends 02 U9 boys Academy, coached by Royce Brodie, Chris Saul, Jason Robertson, and Jim Watson. Both teams played amazingly well this fall by beating all of the TOP NCSL and VCCL teams in the area and brought home several pieces of hardware in several tournaments this fall!!

ASC Explosion Gold & Black - U9 Girls Academy coached by Dax Gay, Fred Full and Patti Jackson wrapped up a very successful inaugural fall season. The Gold and Black teams both went undefeated in WAGS play. Our combined overall record in all competitions was 35-5-2, the girls scored 218 goals and conceded just 21.

2012 National Indoor Soccer Championship - Regional Finalist

2012 National Indoor Soccer Championship - Regional Finalist

ASC Explosion Academy (U9 Girls) participated in the National Indoor Soccer Championship (NISC) Tournament in Harrisburg, PA on January 14th & 15th. The girls scored 31 goals and conceded 6 in going 3-1 for the weekend. The Championship Game was a fast paced, intense game against the Harrisburg based - LDC Cobras. After regulation the score was tied 2-2, LDC scored the golden goal in overtime for the win. We thank Cobras for a great game and look forward to competing against them again! Explosion had a great weekend in our first "over-night" tournament and look forward to the next one!!

All referees please be sure to re-certify for 2012. All badges that have 2011 are not expired and you are no longer certified to referee this up coming season.

STEP 1: go to www.vadcsoccerref.com

STEP 2: click on the web address for USSF soccer and register as a referee (payment for registration and class is done here)

STEP 3: Wait 24 hours while your registration is completed and downloaded from the USSF page to our State web page

STEP 4: go to www.vadcsoccerref.com again and click on the url for YOUTH LEAGUES: https://www.youthleaguesusa.com/mdcva/2011/Profile.html and enroll in the class you wish to take.
