Due to the tremendous response and some of the feedback that we have received, we are adding a “Training Only” option. The program is going to be broken up into two groups:
 
NLA Friday Academy training & U8 Crossover – Players that have the ability and desire to play in the U8 crossover league in Haymarket.  The program fee for the NLA training and U8 Crossover option is $125 for the 8 training sessions and 8 cross-over league games.  Crossover league games start on Saturday afternoon on 9/11/10.  Game schedules/times to be released at a later date.  
 
NLA Friday Academy training only -  Players that have a desire to participate in the NLA developmental program, but might not have a desire or might not be at the level required to play in the U8 crossover league.  The program fee for the training only option will be reduced to $100 for the 8 training sessions.  Training sessions will be held at Bles Park on Fridays from 5:00 to 6:15 starting 9/10/10 on field #3.  
 
Providing these two options will allow everyone to participate in the program and be placed at the proper level of play and commitment that each family is willing to make. For many of the girls and boys, this will be a great option for them to improve their technical skills and expose them to a higher level of play and coaching and not have to make the commitment of playing in the crossover league in Haymarket. 
 
NLA Evaluation Session:
We are planning on holding an NLA “Evaluation Session” on Thursday, 8/19 from 6:00 – 8:00 at Potomac Lakes – Paul Hencken.  (The county has closed our normal field, Bles Park for the next two weeks for repairs.)

DIRECTIONSTake the Beltway (VA) to Route 7 West. Follow Route 7 for approximately 12 miles to Cascades Parkway (Rte. 1794), just past the Northern Virginia Community College - Loudoun Campus. Exit onto Cascades Parkway North and continue for approximately 2.5 miles to Potowmack Lakes Sportsplex on the right. Inside the complex, turn right, following the one-way circular traffic pattern. The Potomac Lakes (Paul Hencken) fields are behind the softball fields.

 
 
This is not a try-out.  No players will be cut from the program. Players will either be placed on one of the Crossover Teams or offered a place in the Development Academy “Training Only” group. 
 
 No worries if you are on vacation or out of town on the 19th. If you are unable to attend the evaluation session please let us know and we’ll make other arrangements to get you placed into one of the groups.

  The response to the NLA Developmental Academy has been has been extremely positive and we have over 40+ girls and 25+ boys interested in participating in the Academy program!  We still have a few slots remaining!!
