Little Strikers

The Little Strikers program meets once a week on Saturdays for eight weeks. The groups usually meet around 10:45 AM (schedules are set closer to the start of the season). The Little Strikers teams have a professional trainer that works with the children and coach at the field for the first three Saturdays of the season. After the three weeks of training they will start to play games against other Little Striker teams.

Each Little Striker team will have one or two assigned volunteer coaches. These coaches will be the point of contact for the families on the team. The coach will be the one responsible for distributing the jerseys to the players. There should also be a ’team manager‘who will help with coordinating snacks, informing the families of when/where to meet for the training sessions, passing out information about picture day schedule and picture forms, and distributing the pictures and trophies at the end of the season.

Each Little Striker player will need their own size #3 soccer ball, cleats, and shin guards. Players can wear any color shorts and will need socks that can cover the shin guards. Players should also have a water bottle to bring water with them to each of their training sessions.

If your child is playing with Ashburn Soccer Club for the first time, then you will need to purchase a uniform package which includes 2 jerseys (white and gold), shorts, and socks. If your child is a returning player and you already have the ASC uniform (and it still fits) then you will not need to order the uniform package.
